Why isn't it getting hot ?
Once plugged in a blue light will indicate it is ready to use. Blow about 2-4 inches away from the device to activate. The device will change color to red and ignite for 10 seconds the automatically shut off
How do you pull it off ? Does it stay hot?
After one use, the device automatically shuts off after 10 seconds. The device gets slightly warm but you can easily pull it off by holding the middle of the body (not the top, near the coil) and pull it off.
For extra safety, you can leave the lighter plugged in while it cools down, usually 30 seconds or less.
